Salt Pan Itineraries

Cervia - Po Delta Park

The Cervia Salt-Pan  is the southernmost point of the Po Delta Regional Park. It is a nature and landscape area of considerable interest, and is included on the list of Wetlands of International Importance of the convention of Ramsar. Since 1979, it has been an animal repopulation State Nature Reserve.
The Visitors’ Centre, the information point of the Po Delta Park, is the departure point for guided visits of the Cervia Salt Pan. Inside the pan is a learning route which enables visitors to become better acquainted with the historical and economic aspects of salt production.

In the garden in front of the Stores is a fountain called "IL TAPPETO SOSPESO", designed by Tonino Guerra.
